About Us
Nurturing the artistic curiosity of our students is a vital part of educating tomorrow’s leaders. Many young people who dream of a career in the arts crave guidance from established professionals currently working in their chosen field. Ours is a comprehensive approach to mentoring: we facilitate engagement between artists and the classroom , we provide access to the live arts experience, and we enable one- on-one mentoring relationships with a professional artists.
ArtsLEAF (Lead, Engage, Access, Facilitate) is an organization that strives to address this need through the use of online communication (video conferencing, email and forum discussions via our secure website) and personal interaction. ArtsLEAF creates a network between professional artists, cultural organizations, experienced educators and students whose passion is the arts.
The ArtsLEAF initiative is threefold:
- First, establish an Arts Education Virtual Mentoring Program.
- Second, ArtsLEAF enables access to live arts experience.
- Third, ArtsLEAF provides resources for further engagement in artistic expression and experience.
Meet and learn from the mentors, experience the results of their labor and production of art, pursue your path as an artist, this is ArtsLEAF.
